By the phenomenon that Prachuap Khiri Khan is located between the Tenasserim Mountains and the Gulf of Thailand it is always a little breeze blowing in the whole region, so the heat in the hot season is bearable.

The rainy season is from May to early November noticeable, where it does not rain continuously but there is on average every second day some rain. The tropical rain holds usually not long time, after a few hours of rain the sky will be cloudless.
The humidity increases in this time of the year at 70-80%, which may let feel some people a bit oppressive. The big advantage of holidays in this season is that tourist sights are uncrowded, you can negotiate much better hotel rates and car hire or rental bikes.
The dry season lasts in Prachuap Khiri Khan from November to April and the coolest months are December and January. Nearly 30 degrees Celsius on average, at the maximum temperature.
April and May are the hottest months, but with 33 degrees on the average maximum temperature, it is very bearable.
